Utilizing materials such as stockings, tights, and cosmetics, she makes dolls using her aunt or other female relatives as a motif. 

She likens her own physical and mental discomfort and faults to her blood relative’s genetic disorder of the lower limbs.

She sews a thread as if performing surgery on the “human form” which is the ‘Yorishiro’, or vessel for the soul.

The theme is removing the pain from experiencing loss, and transforming a personal experience into a story.

By seeking an existence that can match the personal value of the word ‘Mother’, she is grasping for a universal prayer.
