Sewing this work was necessary for her personal acceptance and forgiveness of her female relatives (the women in her family have a pathognomonic genetic lower limb disorder).

The overwhelming amount of “manual labor,” the accumulation of time to accomplish it, and the rumination of memories.

The never-ending repetitive action is what she was craving.

The sewn thread is overlaid in such excess the original fabric is completely obscured.

That task was the process of desensitizing herself to personal retrospection similar to flashbacks.

The doll, whose appearance one might associate with a curse, is actually accompanied by something more prayer like in nature.

Through the process of peaking into the individualistic “maternal outlook – female outlook” the subject spread to a deeper part through the private “woman.”

In the creation of her work, her hand is being stretched toward prayers, wishes, and longing for all of life.

Through this process, the awareness of “expression” is bestowed on “action.”
