During the production period, she finished a long homecoming after the birth of her nephew and her own marriage.

It took three years to complete the work, seeking greater precision in detail, because the most important part of the work was the time to try again the practice of a life once abandoned due to the illness of the soul.

 

The subject matter of this work is the recovery of the family image and the end of childhood, as she takes on the role of the "aunt" that has been her motif, bids farewell to her attitude as an escapist child, and lets go of her fear of maturity.

 

In the past, her work was an act of transforming herself into a virtual body in order to compensate for a weak sense of reality, and it was the realization of the surface layer as a work to confirm a sense of internal lack.

The present work is an extension of that, but also a procedure to keep the body in life, stitch by stitch, so as not to be torn between the extremes of feelings of omnipotence and inadequacy.

 

The jewel-like acrylic beads that cover her head, horned insects, and pregnant woman's belly are treated as symbols of stupidity, desire and ambition.She took them as her own belongings and and represented a figure trying to live a good life by reconciling her body and soul.
