The form of this object is modeled after a book and is partnered with a story she wrote around the same time.
At the time, the act of writing and sewing this object had already become inseparable.
By going back and forth repeatedly between mediums of expression, herself was converted into her novel.
This work is also a collection of minute fragments from everyday life and sewed into the work, serving as a record.
It evokes the image of a little girl’s diary, but there is a large feeling of vacancy throughout.
It becomes the manifestation of the mourning a daughter experiences when deprived of her mother’s breast, leading to the telling of a story.
The experience is objectified and fictionalized by being made into a work of art, and released from the context of life. It is a leap, attempting to break away from her own body.
